I was thinking of taking a Domestic Electricians course because I would love to work a little more on my own property.

Especially with Solar and Inverters and even Batteries.

You can do intensive courses but I don't know if they would really teach me enough to get me competent in the free time I have available (which isn't a lot).

Still, it would be great to be able to wire your own house :-)

Hi Racing friend

There wasn't much racing yesterday so I decided to play around Dutching using the Greyhound Card Software

There is a member's video about using the COW (Chance of winning) rating to find 4 runners to Dutch.

I was actually jumping between using the COW rating and the ALL(ranks) rating because both find a lot of winners.

I had 6 straight wins in a row and left it there.

What really surprises me (even now) is the amount of profit on a race you can make, where you select 4 out of 6 runners.

My lowest was 22% of my stake and the highest was 88% of my stake...

...And 5 out of the 6 were above 50%.

That's crazy when you think about it.

I know it could have been a lucky streak but it's worth having a look yourself to see how often the top 4's win.

Another column to check out is the RS column again taking the top 4 selections.

I hadn't noticed before how well that works.

Changing the subject to Horses.

I was telling you about the TTS+ method  a user sent me.

This was actually in response to a method I told you about a month or so ago and asked if anyone thought they could improve it.

John did and sent me the one I am using now.

I quite like it because it averages around 1 selection per day and averages about 5 points a month.

A great little "Nano" type system you can add to your range.

I didn't get enough time to record a video yesterday so I will try again today and hopefully get it up on the member's page.
