...Or stop at a winner...
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Well, that's all over and done with.
I am still going to take it a little easier for a couple of more days and pick it up on Monday.
Just a little less than I normally do :-)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Morning!
I mentioned that I wanted to do some new tests.
Something I am personally interested in is the 2.0 range.
We did talk about this last year and figuring out how often you can win at a 50% chance of winning.
It's difficult to find runners exactly at 2.0 so you have to decide on a price range.
I used 1.95 to 2.30.
It will probably give an overall chance of winning nearer 46% than 50%...
...But it's about getting the best chance to get matched close to the expected price.
To be clear I have selected one particular market to run the test on and I will review more about what that is when I have more results.
In the two days I have been running the test the average price has been around 2.12...
...which gives a Chance of Winning of around 47%. (100/2.12).
So it is surprising I am up over 4 points and have a strike rate much higher and closer to 77%.
Would that be classed as value?
Only time will tell.
You could have also stopped on the first winner and made 1 point each day.
The other test I told you about (3TBP 1.45 to 1.65 range) is still in profit but it did have two losers in a row (4 points)...
...so that hurt a little although the next 4 all being winners helped.
Keep an eye out for more on these tests.
In the meantime check out the Greyhorse bot.
