I thought I would give you a quick heads-up on the Betfair/Timeform 1-2-3 selections for September.

TF 1 (normally 5 stars)

Loss of around 47 points.

Although you could have made 5.97 points on AW only.

If you had of "Lay-bet" Flat, Hurdle and Chase...

...You could have made 37.90 points.

In fact, since I have been recording the selections, "Lay-bets" would have made you 81 points without AW.

Longest losing run of 5 and the average losing price was 2.5, but there was one 19.99 loser!

TF 2.
Loss of around 80 points (Worse than last month). I couldn't find any race type with profit, except for a couple of points for NHF.

"Lay-bet" on the other hand, showed a profit of around 60 points, but AW was about even, so the profit came from Flat, Hdl and Chs.

LLR was 4, and ALP was 4.38, but the highest losing price was 22.

TF 3 
Interestingly, HDL races made around 8 points with a longest losing run of 15 to contend with.

"Lay-Bet" Flat, AWF and Chase gave a combined profit of 49.54 points.

LLR of 3 and ALP of 6.04 and a highest losing price of about 23.

If you had "Lay-Bet" all 3, the profit would have been around 128 points (A bit more if you left out AW).

I don't know if that is useful to you, but I thought I would share it anyway.

I intend to record them for one more month to see if anything changes.

I am tempted to start laying TF1 to some kind of max price.

You could just pick the highest % or over, say 60% and see how they perform.
