There have been a lot of comments on my latest "Not for Everyone" update video.

One of the themes that is interesting is 

"It’s been a great month glad I jumped on this early even the losing ones enabled plenty of opportunities to trade out so I’ve not lost a full stake from when I started"

Then I got an email.

"If you trade those selections rather than set and forget, you will know which ones are going on to win the race and avoid them."

And in the FB group.

"...the way I approach this is by fixed liability inplay trading.

I analyse Malcolm’s selections and identify any prominent / front runners to lay in play at a lower odds range.

The rest I monitor inplay and lay once I’ve seen a mistake or behaviour that makes me believe they’re not a contender.

This approach gives me time to build up a green position from tick offsets and then if the lay goes the wrong way I can exit for a small green / red.

Plus the reward is greater when laying inplay at lower odds and so your hit rate doesn’t need to be so high."

I know not everyone has the time to "Trade in-play"...

...But if you do, it could be something to look at.

Although I am happy with my FHG/LTD selections, I would like to make them better...

...so I have been experimenting with some other ideas.

...Especially to find LTD matches only.

We know that on average, 25% matches end in a draw.

That is why you generally see the price of around 4.0.

11 / 4.0 =25% Chance of winning.

So we have a 75% chance of laying a match and winning.

Even with yesterday's loser (Typical), I am still hitting a strike rate of 85% with the highest score of the day.

And the average liability still appears to be close to 4.00 mark.

Anyway, I will let you know more about the experiments when I have a bit more data.
