...Oh crap!...

I am really lacking in cardio exercise at the moment.
Yeah, I walk a lot and I climb, but I haven't been doing anything to really get my heart pumping consistently for 10 mins or more.
Not been out on my bike, haven't skipped and still haven't picked up running again.
I really need to do better :-)

Hi there
What do they say about "the best-laid plans"?
After 4 months of pretty good results, the "Not for everyone Lays" has had a dismal start to the month.
Not seen anything like it since we've been watching the selections over the last four months.
To be honest, I don't have a clue why you would suddenly get so many losers...
...but I guess that is horse racing!
It is going to be interesting to see how the rest of the month goes...

At the moment I am trying to do one "Dutch" a day without the favourite.
Yesterday, the 15:30 Newton Abbot looked interesting.
The favourite was "Kenzo Des Bruyeres" who was interesting, but I felt there were several others that could take him on.
To make a bit more profit, I have been leaving out some of the higher-priced selections from the Dutch because their chances of winning are really slim.
In yesterday's race "Winning Paddy" was the outsider at 38.6, so I decided to not include him in the Dutch.
It was an interesting race...
..."Kenzo Des Bruyeres" faded near the end and it looked like...
...."Black Occ" or "Isle Of Sark" could take it.
But no...Winning Paddy took up the lead and won by quite a bit in the end.
To be honest, I was not upset.
I had thought the favourite would not win, and he didn't, and I did like "Black Occ" who came second.
I did wonder about the two outsiders...
...but, you can not really take a chance on a 38.6-priced runner winning.
It was a 3m6f Chase and those races can spring some surprises, so maybe that is something to learn.
