...To that question...
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I am now constantly trying to walk 8,000 steps or more every day.
My goal is 10,000 + but I will take 7500 on the odd days when it is difficult.
I sit in a chair 8 hrs(sometimes more) per day so it's not easy even with dogs to walk.
Yesterday I managed 15k mainly because I managed to get 2 hours of walking in with the dog.
Why? I quote:
"Walking 7,500 steps per day can help prevent a range of health issues including: cardiovascular disease, obesity, type 2 diabetes, depression, anxiety, high blood pressure, certain cancers, and premature mortality;"
I think it is worth the effort :-)

Morning!
I get a lot of emails for suggestions about "Staking and recovery" plans and the best ones to use in certain situations.
Suggesting stakes to use based on the size of your bank is one thing...
...recommending recovery staking is a whole different ball game.
It's such a personal thing.
Here is an example.
Yesterday I said I had been testing the Greyhound Place market, backing favourites using the combined rank of 2 to 4.
Over the last few days, since I have been using this idea...
...I have been taking notes of the losing runs and average winning price.
The longest losing run is 3 and the average winning price has been around 1.70 (0.70).
This then made me think that increasing my stakes after every loser could make sense as long as it doesn't get out of hand.
Using "One up" staking is always my preferred recovery plan if it works (on lays it is split by 3).
It looks like this.
Loss -1 (1 point which is our base stake)
Loss -2 (We increased our stake by our original stake 1+1 )
Loss -3 (We increased our stake by our original stake again 2+1 )
Win 4 * 0.70 (average) = 2.8 - 6 (loss 3+2+1) = -3.2
As you can see in this case it didn't really help but 3 in a row doesn't happen very often so we are relying on just 1 loser or sometimes 2.
Luckily, the bot works all this out for me!
This is just one of many ways and probably not even the best for this system.
Really though you want a lot more testing before you decide "If" to use one and "What will be the best one".
Don't forget though if you introduce recovery you need to consider lowering your start stake.
