We are getting right into the Flat season now.
It was sad to hear about Chelmsford Racecourse not getting a license last week...
...Hopefully, they will sort that one out soon.
After a dismal week, last week on False Favourites...
...I am going to spend a few days this week trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.
I have had plenty of emails of encouragement, and I am thankful for those.
But I also have quite a few software updates I want to get done, so instead of splitting my time between the two...
...I will concentrate on coding for the next few days.
As many of you have pointed out, it's not easy identifying a favourite that could lose, but I still have some ideas I want to pursue.
I will let you know shortly what's next.

Lay selections are a bit of an enigma because on the one hand, you could select any runner in a race...
...But on the other hand, you want to keep your liability in check.
That is why trying to find favourites to lose is so inviting.
I mean, we know from "Not for everyone" how things can go badly wrong with higher-priced layes...
...And even keeping your liability to 10.00 is still dangerous.
I must admit it is why sometimes I prefer football and LTD (Lay the Draw).
Ok, it is not as cheap as backing a favourite, but generally you can keep your prices in a reasonable window, while still making a profit.
I have proved this with my own LTD service.
