...One or two losers is all it takes...
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Since this cold snap started I haven't been in the workshop.
I am such a wimp sometimes and much prefer to stay indoors playing on the computer.
All I really have to do is put the heater on for 20 minutes before I go out there and I will be really toastie :-)

Morning!
I have been reading the comments from the latest survey and there is some great feedback.
One comment got me thinking.
"I struggle with sticking to a system. One or two losers and I jump ship."
I have to admit, I feel for this reader because losing is a pain in the backside...
...But it is something we have to learn to deal with if we are going to make a profit.
So what would cause someone to "Jump Ship"?
Well here are my thoughts about it.
They haven't properly researched the system to see what they can expect.
In fact, you need to look at what you see and then "add some" to the worst-case scenario.
On our results sheets, I always try to add "Predicted losing run" because that is often worse than what we have seen so far.
You have to believe what you are seeing and don't think that "You may be lucky"!
Another is that the stakes are too high for the bank.
When we don't have large banks then we can often stake more than we really should...
...which leads to anxiety and is probably why we abandon a system more than any other.
Even with a £100 bank staking £5 to £10 of it can really hurt after just a couple of losers.
You have to start with small stakes and work up from there.
There is no rush and if there is then maybe you should try something else.
Which leads me to "Impatience".
I know you are bombarded with offers every day giving you a link to the "Next Best thing"...
...And I know you probably don't want to miss it.
But sometimes what you really need is to ignore all the noise and just concentrate on one thing.
You don't need hundreds of bets/trades a day you really only need one or two.
Unless you are an experimenter like myself who had bots and manual systems all over the place...
... Then you should just find "One thing" (system or method) and stick with it for a while.
One last point on that...
...We are all different and you have to find out what really suits you.
If you are jumping ship after one or two losers then the system/method does not suit you.
If you can not handle losers then you're going to have to go for lower price selections...
...or higher strike rate selection where you have a much better chance of winning.
To be honest jumping ship after two losers is probably a bit extreme but most people can not last past 5.
If you can then maybe GR4 is something you would want to have a look at.
