🐎👉 Nice when they come nowhere...

...When they should that is...

I have to get some new tyres for my Electric mountain bike.

Since converting it to electric, they do wear out more often than they used to...

...But I think that is because I use it more now and I do love using it like a dirt bike :-)

Hi there

I was watching yesterday's selections from the Not for Everyone Lays system.

https://cyots.co.uk/layorgohome.asp

It was ranked 4th in the betting and went off at 7.80.

It came nowhere, which is always nice to see when you are hoping that this will be the result.

That takes this system to over 18 points this month already.

Certainly well over the 10 points if that was your monthly goal.

If you read my cashouttrading news letter you may have seen this already...

...I wanted to make sure you read it :-)

When I put together the Lay-to-Back strategy, I was well aware that in-play was going to come up and people would want to try it.

There is something you should consider when trading in-play though...

...can you make it profitable?

Let's take it that you "Lay" a selection on average at a price of 2.5 (1.5 liability on Betfair).

Statistically speaking, this runner will win 40% of the time and obviously lose 60% of the time.

60 x 1 point (-2% commission) is 58.8 points profit.
40 x 1.5 (Liability loss) is 60.

So, as you can see, we are down 1.2 points.

What, instead of just laying the runner, we traded.

Now here is the thinking part.

We don't know which runner will win and which will lose, so we can not choose which runners to let run and which to trade.

What we do know is that 40 of these selections will win (over time)

But we also know that some of those 40 will drift in-play at some stage.

Our goal as a trader is to find out if there is a "Tick Value" or "Percentage of our stake" we can attempt to get on every runner...

...That will lead to profit.

If we watch the races, then there will be some runners we can just judge that they are not going to win, and we could get the full win on.

But our real goal is to find the price that makes the most sense.

Over 100 selections, can you figure out the best trade-out price?

Is it 10 ticks, or 25% of your stake?

Would it be better to just make 5 ticks per selection?
