Last week, I gave you a number of ideas that could help you find 10% of your stake profit.
Victor posted another idea in the FB Group yesterday.
"Find an evenly matched game where home and away teams are both over 2.
Dutch 0.0, 1.0, 0.1, 1.1, 2.1, 1.2 or bet 80% on under 2.5 and 10% on 1.2 and 2.1...
...alternatively, Dutch as many "scores" as possible to get your 10% as evenly matched games very rarely have 4 or more goals."
It's actually quite surprising how many goal lines you can dutch and still make 10% or thereabouts profit.
I had already been doing some research into this myself.
I was telling my Cashouttrading readers yesterday that I am now using the 30 / 150 rule when I test an idea.
If you test an idea 30 times, this should give you about 65% confidence in a method and the experience to work it quite well.
150 times should give you 95% confidence in how well a method works.
Even if you have come up with a strict system for selecting horses or football matches, you could use this as a guideline.
Let's face it, we can often give up on something after 5 or 10 tries, let alone 30.
Maybe worth thinking about.
I am still following those Betfair/Timeform selections (as an example)...
...And laying TF2 (normally 4 stars) seems to work well...
...With some cautions.
1. Check prices, 10 or under is still profitable and can save some pretty nasty shocks!
2. Although there is a little profit from AW, I would stay away from it.
3. If you had "lay" Hurdle, Chase and Flat favourites only, then, since I have been testing (not quite 3 months), you could have made 60+ points.
If you have PR Ratings, then an alternative...
...is to just select runners with arrows 0,1,2 (not 3)...
...then cross-reference them with TF2 (Still keeping the price below 10).
