...A small upgrade...

The thing about an electric car is deciding how you will charge it.

I found an easy way for me.

I plug it into the mains, which gives about 2.5 KW and around 8 to 10 miles an hour.

Now I don't do anywhere near those miles per day and once the car is up to 60/70, that's it for 2 to 3 weeks.

Beauty is I can now do that with the Solar  :-)

Yesterday I updated the "Betfair Market Finder", which is a free piece of software I give to Greyhorse bot members.

As you know, I have been working a lot on Dutch bets lately, and I wanted to explore the hedge option as well.

As one of my readers (Colin) put it.

...Malcolm showed off his own DUTCH example where he had an outsider he did not cover, win at an unlikely BSP of 38.33

While that is relatively rare, a loss is a loss

But Malcolm has come up with a new calculator that allows you to cover that eventuality, without the expense of a full bet 

Hedgeing/Dutching Calculator

It allows a cover bet on the competitors you do not fancy to win, which costs less than a win bet, meaning the winner in the example above would have resulted in a scratch bet

This type of cover bet does reduce by a large amount the winning bet, had a fancied runner won - in this case down to a miserly 1% - but, hey, a win is a win

The great thing is, with a No-Lose situation, a huge bet can be placed knowing your chances are better."

I am certainly going to be using it more myself in the future...
