It's Friday!

20+ Hours of 3D printing so far on the Iron Man helmet.

All the red has been done and today I hope to finish the gold which is going to be the piece that lifts up at the front.

It's going to be a tight fit once all the electronics and servos are in there :-)

So yesterday I decided to post my own "One-a-da" Back/Place selection on FB and Discord (which I may close down shortly).

Of course, with only 2 AW meetings yesterday, we didn't have much choice, but I went for it anyway.

I selected 11:58 Ling Knockbrex.

It came 3rd out of 5 selections and to be honest it wasn't even close to the first two runners.

So should I give up?

Of course not, what I have to do is take some information down about the runner and the race...

And also, was there anything else I thought about afterwards?

To be honest, I am not a keen AW fan so I should have probably waited until we had some jump meetings.

The horse had some extra weight from its last win, so maybe I should have taken that into account.

Apart from that I liked what I saw but there was another which was Tadreeb 12.58 Ling.

This horse won and although I didn't pick it I have taken down some details to help me in the future if I am not sure about which selection to pick.

There really wasn't a lot to choose between the two so I am not sure if there is anything that stands out...

...But at least it gives me some extra data.

Sometimes just narrowing down the runners using some start criteria and then choosing from what is left can be all you need to create a profitable system.
