...For a bit of fun...
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Yesterday I installed a new Windows 11 update...
...Since then my PC has been doing all sorts of weird things.
Windows has automatically suspended some files that allow you to do right clicks, Alt tabs and that kind of thing.
No matter what I do, I can not get them to turn back on.
Hopefully, I can work out today because it is a little frustrating :-)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Morning!
If you had 60 days to play a little game...
...this is one I would consider.
The only risk is your first stake.
The target is to win as often as you can!
* First, you set a goal of a daily amount you want to make in profit.
If you had a 100% success rate, you could potentially reach £50 a day in 60 days.
So this is how I see the game being played (with money you afford to lose).
Start stake £1 (Ok that's up to you but this is what I base the game on.
* Minimum price of selections is 1.20.
I know this is low, which shows you can work with any price.
By the way, 1.20 gives you an 83% chance of winning the bet...
...But you could trade or find other ways of making just 20% of your stake.
* If you win, you take 50% of your winnings and put them on your next stake.
So if you staked 1.00 and won 0.20 then your next stake would be £1.10
We leave half of it in the bank.
Why?
Because we should always be able to go forward a little, even if we lose.
Let's say we won on the first, but lost on the second.
We won 0.20 and put 0.10 in the bank
Next stake is £1.10 and we lose.
Yes, we have lost our original stake but we still have 0.10 in the bank, so we actually only lost 0.90.
We start again.
Our goal is first to cover our stake...
...And then to build as quickly as possible to our daily amount.
This is how your stakes could look like.
Day 1. £1.00
Day 10. £2.36
Day 20 £6.12
Day 40 £41.14
Day 60 £276.80 (£55 profit at 20% of stake)
Of course, you are not going to win every day...
...But that is part of the fun.
Trying to figure out a selection method that finds you a "One a Day" selection with a good chance of winning.
* One more thing.
If I win more than 20% of my stake, I still treat it as 20% because that just covers my stake quicker.
So if I won a BTTS at 1.70, I would treat it as if I won at 1.20 and leave all the extra in the bank.
