🐎👉 Another false favourite...

...Just one, but that is all you need...

-----------------------------------------------------------------

It's Friday!

Probably going to meet up with my sister tomorrow.

We generally pick a place somewhere in between us so we can have lunch and a good natter.

We used to sometimes meet for Park Runs...

...But I still haven't quite got into running again yet :-)

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Hi there.

Over the last few days, I have been experimenting with the "False Favourite" idea.

I have actually developed this system that seems to be working (at the moment).

Yesterday I only got a chance to post one in the FB group...

...and that lost after being pulled (but it was way behind by then).

The price I got before the race was 2.84, which is a reasonably strong favourite.

At the moment, I am using these columns from TTS

Form
NOR (Number of Runs)
Avg 2 (Win Strike Rate %)
Pace Avg (with rank in brackets)
Speed Rank
BR (Better Than Rank)
Dob P/L
BtoIP
DLR
C/D

And comparing all runners in the race to see if the Favourite really should be.

Now you know me...

...There has to be some AI involved somewhere because there is a lot of data to analyse.

So I created quite an extensive prompt to analyse the data and give me the response that I feel is most useful.

The thing I am still learning, is what are the best races to use the idea with.

I am leaning towards handicaps and fields of around 6 to 10.

Just as a side note:
The way to use horse racing with AI is to be specific about one race.

Don't try to get answers on the full days racing.

Pick one race, give it all the information you can and then let it crunch data.

Anyway, hopefully I will get a chance to post some more selections today.

Football...

The top-scoring game yesterday from the FHG/LTD selections was...

...Fortaleza FC U20 vs Itaqua Athletico Clube U20

Unfortunatly there wasn't a goal in the first half, but
Fortaleza scored at 66 minutes...

...and by 70 minutes, you could have traded out for half of your stake.

This is why, if you are using this metho,d some people say that you should put 30% of your stake on the FHG...

...And then if you have to use LTD, take the other 70% of your stake.

Let's say we had a stake of £10

£3.00 on FHG, which we lost.

£7.00 on LTD would have given a possible trade of £3.50, covering our FHG loss and still making a bit of profit.

That is one way you could do it.

Unfortunately (not a good match), that game ended 1-1...

...giving us our first loser for the top scorer in 9 matches.

Still, that is just 5 losers from 60 games.

Until Next time.
