I was playing around creating objects in AI to 3D print.

It's a bit of a learning experience but it can be done with quite simple pictures that you can then create 3D objects from.

You will need AI, Inkscape and a slicer.

I have mentioned a couple of times that David has been running this Place test in the FB group which was going well...

...But a couple of losers has hurt it quite a bit.

The thing is David is using quite an aggressive recovery_staking plan which is using the same stake you lost on the last race.

The problem with this is that if you win (and he normally does) the odds are normally 1.60 or below so you are not actually recovering your lost stake, just some of it.

The other thing he does is compound 20% of the last win onto your next stake.

Now you know I love compounding and it is a great way of growing your stakes but you have to work this in with how your selections are performing.

David's first run at this idea worked well (from what he said) but this run has given a few more losers...

...and I think that is showing up the difficulty with the staking plan.

He took 20% of his winnings and added them to the next stake, again this can work but sometimes your stake grows quicker than your bank so the ratio becomes lop-sided.

The real issue is that there is no adjustment for the bank/stake relationship so when a loser is hit...

...the stakes are kept the same even though what we won back was nowhere near what we lost.

David had got the bank up to over £300 but two losses in the last week have knocked it down to £193.00

But the staking plan gives us a stake of 99.50 on the next selections.

It's been an interesting test and it will also be interesting to see what happens this week.
