...could be easier than you think...

It's Friday!

Got to spend the weekend in the workshop finishing some last-minute presents.

I just asked my family members what they would like made.

A lot of 3D prints and a few laser-cut and wood-lathed items :-)

Ok, so a couple of things to cover this morning.

First up, there is no Horse Racing from Monday the 23rd until the Boxing Day bonanza!

Some Greyhounds are racing on Monday I think but that should be the last day for them as well.

The second thing that may not affect you is that next year Betfair are changing that silly rolling premium charge.

They have totally restructured it for a 52-week rolling program and charges now only start when you hit 25K (I will show you how to reach it in a moment) over a year.

Although this may not affect you it is hopefully going to be good for the exchange...

...and make it more attractive to bigger players which will mean more money in the markets.

If you are paying their premium charge at the moment it could mean you stop paying anything or pay a lot less than you did before.

I know people still don't like the charge but at least it is better than what it was.

We will have to wait and see if it actually helps.

So how do you get to 25k a year?

Well if you break it down, this is just over £68.00 a day.

What do you have to do to get to £68 per day?

If you started today with just £1 stakes and made 50%...

...so 50p.

The next day you took 10% of that 50 p (5p) and put it towards your next stake...

...And you did this each day.

Then it would take just 102 days to get your stakes up to £136.00 (50% being £68).

Now I am not saying you can do this in exactly 102 days, the point is that you don't have to find big winners...

...You just need to look for odds on selections in markets where you have a good chance of winning and find either 1 or enough to make 50% of your stake a day.
