...Either?...

It's Friday!
Last week because of a server issue on Saturday morning, we didn't get out for our early morning walk.
So far so good :-)

Morning!
As it is Saturday I won't keep you long.
Here is a question.
Would you rather Dutch and have a chance of winning on 2 to 4 (normally) horses...
...Or try to pick a runner that will "Place".
In some ways very similar returns but they require different research.
If we took that we would be happy with 25% of our stake or a better return we can often Dutch 3 or 4 horses...
...Or take on a pretty decent runner in the "Place" market.
I like both but generally, if you want a decent Dutch you are going to have to do it without the favourite...
...Whereas you could still get 25% or more of your stake on a 4TBP market where there are only 8 runners.
So I had this from yesterday which shows how it can be difficult to decide.
Prophesea (IRE) – This 6-year-old gelding has shown consistent improvement, notably winning a 13-runner novice hurdle at Wincanton over 2 miles 3 furlongs on soft ground in December. He followed up with a commendable third in a Newbury handicap, indicating his competitiveness at this level.
Carismatic Soldier (IRE) – Also a 6-year-old gelding, Carismatic Soldier secured a victory in a 2-mile novice hurdle at Chepstow on heavy ground in January. The step up to 2 miles 3 furlongs today is expected to suit him, and he remains open to further improvement.
Disco Davis (FR) – This 6-year-old gelding displayed resilience by winning a 2-mile maiden hurdle at Lingfield on heavy ground in January. With a solid performance over similar conditions, he is a strong contender.
Dark Horse to Watch:
Bear Market (IRE)
(From the Betfair Market Finder a bonus for Greyhorse bot members)
I decide to Dutch Carismatic Soldier, Disco Davis, Bear Market without Prophesea for about a 34% return.
Prophesea actually ended up winning...
...But I couldn't get any of those runners for less than 1.17 on the 4TBP place market, although all 4 of them came in the top 4.
It was one of those races that was just difficult to decide...
...But if any of those 4 had been 1.25 or above it would have been the way to go...
...Or I could have chanced two to place!
