...4 Place winners that is..

I am still planning the weekend.

The first thing Saturday is to get the dogs out for a long walk or at least two hours.

It's a great way to start the weekend burning 500+ calories giving you a bit to play with :-)

As it is Saturday I won't keep you long.

Not sure if you have been watching my Place selections in the FB Group and on the Discord server this week.

Since I have been using "Last won by" from TTS it has helped me select reasonably good runners.

Here was yesterday.

13:55 Newb Captain Bellamy 3TBP 2nd 1.10
14:30 Newb Havaila 3TBP 2nd 1.71
14:50 Muss  Summergrounds 4TBP 1st 1.75
15:00 Newb Mythical Moon 4TBP 3rd 1.34

Around 1.94 points for the day...

...Which is always handy.

I had one place selection the day before and it won...

...And Wednesday (When I first started using this idea) I had these.

15:05 Hunt Tara Iti 3 place 3rd 1.18
15:20 Hayd Jarrive De Mee 2 place 1st 1.07
15:35 Hunt Superstylin 2 place 2nd 1.98
16:42 Hunt Camino Rocio 3 place 1st 1.28

All I am really doing is looking at 1st to 2nd LTO, who have a "Last won by" score, and are a C or D winner.

I then click on the name of the horse on TTS and have a look at their past form and just check that "Today" has nothing that would worry me.

You know, Too much weight gain from the last race, different class, different jockey, distance etc.

You're just trying to weigh up if today's race is a "Step too far" for a Place.

I need to get a little more specific about those things...

...But for the time being it seems to work.
