I don't know if fasting is good for you or not but I tend to accidentally do it a lot.
Yesterday I only realised at one in the afternoon that I hadn't eaten since yesterday at about 6 pm.
That's about 19 hours without food.
When I realised I was feeling peckish, I went straight to the fridge :-)

It's funny, one moment you are looking at the new flat season stats thinking that you better be careful with the new form...
...And runners going from AW to flat, then next thing you are deep into the season.
I like the flat season because the races are short so you don't have to wait around for 2.5 miles to be run before there is some action...
...But at the same time short race can easily have an upset.
That is shown in the winning statistics of Favourites over the last couple of years.
AWF 33.58%
CHS 34.24%
FLT 32.77%
HDL 39.15%
NHF 39.27% (They made 16 points profit).
But that's all, favourites, what if they are trading under 2.00

CHS 58.33%
FLT 61.99% (10 points profit on the place)
HDL 65.33%
NHF 62.11%
The average winning price for those is around 1.74.
So it certainly seems like favourites under 2 seem to fair better on the flat.
In keeping with the theme of Flat Favourites under a price of 2, then there seems to be profit in classes 3 and 5...
...Also in runners, 3rd last time out.
...5 or more runners in a race.
