It's Saturday, so I will make this quick.

When you are trying to profile a race and decide who may and who may not win...

...It's interesting to have some stats in place.

We kind of know that favourites win 36% of the time although that will depend on price as well.

At the other end of the price range, the stats show that selections over a price of 20.00 only win 2.25% of the time...

...And over 40.00 1.1% of the time.

Yes, I know they do win...

...But finding one that could is more like looking for a "needle in the haystack".

78% of all winners come from the top 4 in the betting...

...and in 12 runners or fewer races, this figure is closer is 83%.

So if you are looking to Dutch a race you may want to keep that information in mind.
