...But should they?...

I mentioned last week that I had booked a short beginners course in Rope Flow.

After being enticed by 25% off the rope offer, I decided to get one.

It was a lot better than my "Make do" version and has made a difference.

In fact now I am wondering if I have outgrown the beginners course and should change to the more advanced one :-)

If you have followed a system or come up with an idea, I am sure you have experienced a losing run.

This could be just a day or two, a few days or even a month.

I suspect that for most people, a month is hard to take, and two or more months would be too much.

It's hard to trust a system or method that costs you money for any length of time.

On Monday, I had a 13.75 winner on the "Place" market, and on the 4th of this month, I had an 8.6 winner, but there have been winners and losers in between.

Last month, it had a 13.5 winner and a 6.11 winner...

...In fact this "Place" system has made over 33 points over the last couple of months.

Unfortunately, it has had some bad runs as well and has lost 14 points or more in a month.

Overall, since I first came up with this system on 26/06/2024, it has made 80 points.

It has an ROI of around 24%, which I think is pretty good for a place system.

There is no doubt this system needs some big winners now and then to really make a profit.

If it wasn't for those odd losing months, it would be an amazing system...

...But unfortunately, it has them, and they are too much for some people, and it just puts them off.

Don't get me wrong, I don't blame people for giving up on bad runs or when they are expecting more profit.

It's just a shame that people give up when just around the corner is the profit they wanted.

We are going to get losing days, losing weeks and probably even losing months, I suppose we just have to decide when we cut our losses and what it will cost us in the long run.

We don't have a time machine, so we can only "Best Guess" what to do.
