They say it is going to be hot this weekend, so I am not sure what I am going to be up to.

As Wimbledon is around the corner, I have been doing a lot of research and playing with ideas on tennis.

It's an interesting game with some interesting statistics, especially around ranks and set winners.

I got so interested in Ranks and getting a quick view, I decided to update the Betfair Market Finder (Free to Greyhorse bot members).

It's not a big update, but I think it is useful if you are into tennis or want to try it out.

Have a look at this:

Ranking Difference (approx.) Higher-Ranked Player Win %

1-10 places difference 55–60% Chance of winning

11-50 places difference 60–70% Chance of winning

51-100 places difference 70–80% Chance of winning

100+ places difference 80%+ Chance of winning

Basically, the bigger the rank gap between the two players, the higher the chance that the best-ranked player will win.

Of course, there is more to it than just that, but it gives you a place to start.

Betfair don't give the rankings of the players, so I thought I would add them to the Betfair Market Finder.

The update included the type of match as well...

...EG, ATP, WTP, ITF etc.

The qualifying rounds of Wimbledon just come through as "Wimbledon" (discussed in the video)

Anyway, if you want an easy way to check out Tennis markets and the ranks as well as the tournament type...
