...One of those "Arrows" systems...

-----------------------------------------------------------------

I went to maker space last night but still ended up on the computer learning a new programming technique.

I have been a Microsoft guy up to now, but Node.js and React.js are quite interesting to play around with.

There I go, getting nerdy again :-)

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Morning!

I was looking through another couple of systems I had come up with using the Betfair/Timeform 123 tips.

This was a "Lay system" which I have capped at a price of 9.00.

In this won we are using TF2 (Normally 4 stars) and Arrows 0 or 1.

Arrows are a PR Ratings /TTS rating thing...

....and is something we created using the price movements by 10 am in the morning.

The last filter is only to use AW, Chase and Flat.

The strike rate is showing as 84.3%
Longest Losing run 2
Average losing price 4.12
ROI is 18.84 (taken as 1 point, not liability).
79 points profit over 3 months

The last two months have hit 31 and 32 points, but the average since I started is 26.63 points per month.

It was doing better, but over the last week or so, it has been hit a few times with selections that won their races.

I am still trying to find a way to add my data to PR Ratings.

Football stuff.

Had a nice Over 2.5 Goal win at a price of 2.08 on Monday.

I am at the moment working out the best way to play these.

I decided instead of going straight into 30/70 compounding...

...I would cover my stake first.

This normally takes around 2 selections, but when you get a winner at 2.08, then you only need one.

I am taking my Over 2.5 Goal selections from a couple of sources...

...Like the ones in the FB/ Discord group.

As a side note, I asked the users on FB/Discord if they liked the selections.

I wasn't looking for praise, just whether people found them useful.

Had lots of posts in FB, none in Discord...

...Go figure.

I then pick a couple to use each day.

There are going to be losers on this, so it's working out the best way to handle the losers and what to do with your stake afterwards.

By first waiting until you have covered your stake.

Then only using 20 or 30% of your profit on your next stake.

If you lose, you can then calculate how much you may still be in profit because of what you didn't use on your stake.

Here is an example.

On one of my trials that I started recently...

...I had a loser on my first Over 3.5 Match, but then I had 3 winners in a row (one being at 2.40!).

So not only did I recover my loss, but I also covered my stake.

I was now £1.15 in profit.

So my next stake was £1 plus 30% of 15p,  £1.04

If I lose again, I am still in profit, although only by around 10p...

...But I think this is the way I am going to try to build the bank.
